The Preppi Preschool classrooms are open classrooms. The Power Kits and tools for learning are strategically arranged per developmental level. Although there are sections for Toddler, Nursery, Kinder and Prep students, the children are allowed to go to the different sections at any one time to use materials that are appropriate for their development.
The Preppi Preschool classrooms simulate a small society where multi-age children interact to develop their social, emotional and cognitive skills. It is typical yet endearing to see an older child teach a younger child, even a younger but advanced child teaching an older child new in class.
The lightweight and movable furniture are artistically designed to bring a smile in your face. The class environment is not set up like in the traditional school wherein children are assigned to stay in a specific area during class time. The children are able to focus on their work and yet enjoy the freedom of movement in an open space of order, stimulation and social interaction. They go to work areas depending on their developmental state and interest.
On monthly special Preppi events, the talented and versatile Dream Team transform the classroom environment into a thematic scene as they “bring the world to the children” for a hands-on, fun and learning through play. The students develop life skills.
