This is a special day when kids are allowed to EXPRESS their true selves. They are free to come to school wearing their favorite garb and present a skill or talent that they are passionate about. Some kids wear a professional attire as a Show and Tell on what they want to be when they grow up.
Just for fun, although kids mean what they do and say, they direct their own poses, plan their own moves, and even design some of their costumes. Sheer creativity at its best.
Teachers and staff also come in their own Express Yourself Day garb. One of the favorites that garnered lotsa laughs was when a very mature teacher came in as a “baby” because she said she missed her childhood. Its fun to be a child but great to mature as one grows up. Kids got the message.
Preppi School is a learning playground that encourages children to discover their true self and be proud about it. Definitely, a Celebrate “Me” Day for all.
