- Did your child feel comfortable in the environment and with the teachers who greeted him/her?
- Do you think that the teacher showed a sincere interest in interacting with your child?
- Were the teachers and staff smiling, and friendly?
- Did the person you were in contact with listen to you and show care for your concerns?
- Were your questions answered effectively and the school representative listened carefully to your needs?
- Do you think that your needs were understood?
- Do you feel confident and comfortable, that you could speak openly to the director of the school about your child’s issues?
- Do you have a good feeling that the teachers would be able to partner with you in educating your child?
- Is there an open door policy so that you can seek assistance, make an Inquiry, or consult the teacher or the director in time of need?
- Did you observe if the staff treated each other pleasantly and respectfully?

- Does the school have a research-based curriculum guaranteeing emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual development?
- Do you think that the teaching approach and staff will develop your child’s self-esteem, confidence, and love for learning?
- How flexible is the school schedule and the programs to meet your child’s and family’s needs?
- Are references from other parents with enrolled children available?
- What school programs do you prioritize that the school must have? (i.e. Academics, Language (Chinese, Spanish, etc.), Sports, Art and Music, etc.)
- Do you like the school’s communication policy?
- What are the policies that are important for your school choice to have? (Inquire about their school operation and policies that may be significant to you.)
